Alice Bucknell at Kunsthalle Praha

"Persistent Worlds" solo exhibition
Persistent Worlds - solo comprehensive exhibition by Alice Bucknell curated by Lívia Nolasco-Rózsás is now on view in Kunsthalle Praha.

Exhibition presents Staring at the Sun (2024–2025) - a “sci-fi documentary” exploring the dark side of solar geoengineering research, reflecting on humanity’s search for technological solutions to the climate crisis.

Another piece, The Alluvials (2023) is a seven-chapter video work that explores the politics of drought and water scarcity in a near-future version of Los Angeles. This artwork was recently acquired by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, becoming the first video game included in the museum’s permanent collection. Last year, IMPORT EXPORT presented "Chapter 1: California pilled" from The Alluvials as part of  "The Underground Cinema", collaboration between Artissima and  Intesa Sanpaolo. Also on view are two games, Small Void (2025) and Nightcrawlers (2025) - previosly a part of "Bat Cave" exhibition and playtest in Salon by IMPORT EXPORT. More info here
