Alice Bucknell at "Fun Palace"

Grand Palais x Centre Pompidou
Alice Bucknell's 'Nightcrawlers'  now on view as part of "Fun Palace" - a Grand Palais and Centre Pompidou exhibition supported by Chanel Culture Fund.

Playtested earlier this year at our London space during "Bat Cave" exhibition (read more about here), 'Nightcrawlers'  is a two-player cooperative game, set in the Grand Palais at nightfall, inspired by the secret lives of nocturnal pollinators. Playing as either bat or flower in this pollination simulator, players must become attuned to other ways of knowing the world, what to say to communicate beyond language, and how to see more clearly in the dark.

Until June 15 the Grand Palais is hosting Fun Palace, an event conceived as part of the Centre Pompidou's New Assemble program, in co-production with the GrandPalaisRmn and with the support of the Chanel Culture Fund. Installed in the Salon d'Honneur, this project explores forms of community capable of generating pleasure and shared happiness through architecture, design and contemporary art.
